Mark Ronson - French Romance Earns and Engagement Ring

Famous for his production work on Amy Winehouse’s ‘Back to Black’ Brit DJ Mark Ronson surprised the entertainment world before but never by producing diamond engagement rings. He and his fiancé, French supermodel and performer, Josephine de la Baume have been dating since 2009 and she also appeared in one of his hit videos in 2010, ‘The Bike Song’.

The engagement became public when Josephine was spotted flaunting a large diamond ring in Paris. She has recently became the face of Agent Provocateur underwear and will be appearing opposite Rowan Atkinson in the the next ‘Johnny English’ movie.

Clearly with engagement rings on his mind, Ronson had previously told Grazia magazine that:

“It’s not the thought of the wedding – though that’s nice. It’s just the idea of marrying someone you really, really love that you just want to share that with.”

The wedding date has not yet been made public, nor if Mark’s well known older sister, DJ Samantha Ronson will be a bridesmaid, but he and Samantha were seen out celebrating at Bardot nightclub in Hollywood recently.

So while Mark and Josephine have played around with fake diamond engagement rings before, this last display seems a bit more sincere. The 35-year-old music man has been quoted as claiming to be romantic, but also saying that having a French fiancé is taking things to a whole new level.
