New Face – New Voice for 1791 diamonds

Welcome to Ryan Holloway! The latest addition of the 1791 Diamonds team has just returned from Sydney following completion of his Gemmological Association of Australia diamond grading course.

Like most of the team at the New Zealand office he lives near Lake Hawea in the Southern Alps and takes full advantage of the outdoor lifestyle just outside his front door which he enjoys with his young family. Originally from the UK, Ryan has journalism qualifications and substantial experience in the online retail industry. His most recent position was with one of the largest price comparison sites in the UK, PriceRunner.

Ryan is stepping into the customer services role while the person whose voice our customers are more used to hearing, Erika Gunn, is taking ten-week’s leave to visit family and friends in her native Sweden. Currently completing a degree in communication while she works with 1791, Erika has escaped the winter for a while after giving Ryan a masterclass in customer service and Engagement Rings protocol.

Now suitably equipped, Ryan is looking forward to working with 1791 Diamond’s customers as they enter a very exciting part of their lives!
