What can I say - thank you so much! After the emotional loss of the diamond out of my previous engagement ring I wanted to ensure quality and strength without compromising the fabulous look of my previous ring. Alice was amazing at understanding the concept and coming up with fabulous solutions that gave me true confidence in the new ring. Now I love this ring more! I was all set to buy a ring from a well known UK high street chain, not knowing anything much about diamonds. I just happened to stumble across 1791 Diamonds whilst searching Yahoo, and I'm glad I did. Their website was very informative about the 4 C's and showed me what I ought to have been looking at. I found a gorgeous ring and then picked my own diamond to put in it, having weighed up all the options. It turns out that although I've spent roughly the same as I would have in the high street shop, I have a much better diamond in terms of colour, clarity and cut. The staff at 1791 are very helpful indeed, and keep you informed of what's going on.

They also offer a free re-sizing service which is included in the price of your ring. All in all, I was very impressed with the whole experience, particularly as they met a very tight deadline in getting the finished product to me. Oh, and of course the most important thing...? She said "yes", and absolutely LOVED the ring.
